Growing a Loving Church

Church Re-Opening:

Oakland Baptist opened it's doors again on Sunday, June 7.  We have taken all precautions to safeguard our church and comply to all social distancing requirements.  The sanctuary pews have been marked off to allow proper distance between all, face covering is required to enter the building and all surfaces are being sanitized.

Until further notice, we will not be gathering for Sunday School. Child care is not provided at this time.  Children of all ages are welcome in the worship service.

We look forward to seeing you next Sunday!

LETTERS FROM OUR PASTOR, DENNIS BARTON:

During our time apart, Pastor Barton communicated with our congregation through letters.  These will not continue since the church has re-opened.  Those of you who cannot make it to Sunday Services and would like a DVD or CD of our services, please contact your Deacon or Ron Taylor at taylorre@comcast.net.

Tithes & Offerings:

Please do not forget the importance of maintaining our giving as much as possible during this time. To eliminate any immediate contact, we have a separate Offering Box in the church vestibule for you to drop off your tithes and offerings. The financial responsibilities of the church continue unabated. You can still mail your tithes and offerings to: Oakland Baptist Church, PO Box 99, Gum Spring, VA 23065.
