We have also purchased new underwear & socks for Jouett Elementary, Byrd Elementary, Randolph Elementary, & Goochland Elementary Schools to be kept in the clinics for accidents.
· We have purchased new swings for the playground at Oakland
· The nursery & preschool area has been redecorated
· New mulch purchased for the playground at Oakland
· New high chairs and booster seats for the fellowship hall
· New rocking chair & cribs for the nursery
· Baby changing stations in the bathrooms
· Donated new crib to RuraLove
· Donated mattresses, cradle, and bedding items to Beds 4 Kids
· New puzzles & toys for the nursery and preschool areas
· New outdoor games for our youth basketballs, badminton / Volleyball
· Purchase new equipment for the sale; new clothing & shoe racks, new scanners, new monitors, & new signage.
· Donated old shoe racks to Goshen Baptist Association – RuraLove
· Donated clothing to Thomas Jefferson Elementary school for earthquake affected families.
O Over 50 individual children in our community have “shopped” through the donated clothing & items.
· We have purchased stuffed animal making kits for a ministry team in South Dakota. They used these items during a mission trip to the Cannonball Indian Reservation.
· Learning Resources for the Youth Classroom, College & Career Classroom, and the Children's Sunday School.
· T-shirts for all youth going on annual summer mission trips.
· Financial support for Gheorge Rudi who is an Indigenous Missionary in Moldova for a Children’s Ministry.
13 children received clothing from Fall 2013 sale
We also purchased, gloves, socks, underwear, boots & shoes for 2 children.
Richmond Church Children (These are a regular that we help with church shoes & clothes)
2 families were our Special Shoppers after the Santa Breakfast
Purchased a winter coat for 1 child at GES
Spent $185.25 of the proceeds to help fill the Shoe Boxes for Operation Christmas Child that was coordinated by the WOM. Made a monetary donation to the Ruth School in Romania. For more information on the Ruth Project, visit their website: http://project-ruth.org/
